When choosing an East Gate new construction home, we welcome both Realtors and real estate sales agents. We understand buying a home is a major life decision with a lot to navigate, including hurdles and roadblocks that can arise. Everyone deserves a knowledgeable and ethical professional to help them throughout the entire process. This is why we will pay a buyer’s agent 2% of the purchase price of the listed home chosen. Paying the buyer agent commission has been part of our process from the beginning, even before the changes to real estate contracts and new laws concerning communication about agent compensation. When an agent gets a custom home under contract with us, we also offer bonuses at the time of signing.

We believe it is the agent/broker’s job to assist in finding the home that meets the needs of their client, and work for their client to help them understand and secure the deal that works best for those needs and the right budget. A good agent, at minimum, will put the needs of their clients above their own and complete the tasks required to find the right home, send an official offer, negotiate terms in the client’s best interest and work with the parties of the transaction (buyer and seller) to make it smoothly and amicably to the closing table. After all, we are all working toward the same goal and really are all on the same team…the buyer’s.

We have worked with clients who built on their own land or just decided they’d prefer to work directly with us, no agent, and those clients were extremely happy with the way the design, build and purchase process went. However, we know this isn’t the best solution for everyone. New home buying can be such an exciting a rewarding accomplishment, for everyone involved in the process. We want to work with those who believe in doing things right, who love the process and serving their clients well, just as we do.
